The Trust is very pleased to announce that St Margaret Millington has decided to open its doors to the public permanently.
This delightful small church (pictured left) preserves its original 12th-century plan of nave and chancel. There is a Norman south doorway and 13th and 14th-century windows. The small brick tower is of early 19th-century as is the charming unspoilt interior with west gallery, painted panelling and simple king-post roof. Alter rails by Thompson, the 'mouseman'.
You can see all this for yourself daily from 9am till dusk and it is well worth a look!
