Now that the Trust has no external funding, we need to make a nominal charge for membership, to cover the costs of stationery, printing and postage of the Newsletter and other notices to you, of accountancy fees, and of insurance in relation to visits of churches, hiring of venues, and the cost of refreshments.

The Yorkshire Wolds is a unique region with a distinct rural heritage and the High Wolds Heritage Group has been set up to catalogue and archive existing materials, provide IT and technology and equipment for internet research and oral history and provide display screens, wall cases and publications to communicate and share this rich heritage with the wider public before it is lost.

The Yorkshire Historic Churches Trust (contact: Secretary/Grants Committee Secretary, Margaret Barlow, 11 Fieldfare Drive, Gateford, Worksop, S81 8TP) is one of the county trusts whose parent was known as the Historic Churches Preservation Trust, now know as the National Churches Trust.

Mr Geoffrey Bell has agreed to be a trustee of the Trust. Many of you will already know him and will have enjoyed talks he has given at many of our beautiful churches.
